English Country Dance
at the
Bellingham Senior Activity Center.

Dance, because standing gets you nowhere.

We meet weekly, on Thursdays, from 2:30-4:30 at BSAC.

If you feel like kicking up your heels and meeting some wonderful people, come and join us at our weekly classes and learn English folk dancing that hails from Renaissance times, was loved by Jane Austen and is still danced around the world today.

Learn contemporary and traditional English Country Dancing in a fun-filled setting. Dances range from lively to elegant, historical to modern. If you have dreamed of learning to dance the way it was done in the days of Jane Austen in a forgiving and friendly setting, come and join us at our weekly classes. Class teaching is shared by our instructors who impart their enthusiasm and expertise.

New Dancers are always welcome. Curious? Try out our Thursday class, it is open to all BSAC members and it is absolutely FREE! No Obligation, just come and enjoy an afternoon filled with music, dancing, and laughter. No previous dance experience required – you only need comfortable shoes and a willingness to participate. Be prepared for fun!

At this time the Senior Center requires ALL attendees to wear masks.
Our ECD class is free and open to all BSAC members. As we are actively dancing in relatively close proximity, we are requesting all dancers to verify that they have COVID-19 vaccinations. No COVID vaccinations, no ECD at BSAC.
